2009 Candidate Debates in PWC
Every year the non-partisan Prince William Committee of 100 hosts several candidate debates. Tonight they will host debates between Delegate Jackson Miller and his opponent and Delegate Bob Marshall and his opponent. Rich Anderson and Rafael Lopez are up on October 1st and our next AG Ken Cuccinelli will be debating his opponent at the Verizon auditorium on October 7th. Check out this link for all the information on location and times (http://www.pwc100.org/PDFs/forums_2009.pdf) Note the debate between Lt. Governor Bolling and his opponent has been cancelled because she refused to agree to a standard set of rules.

SIX WEEKS LEFT-- Please Volunteer
There are six weeks left till the election. Everyone's busy, and many of our commutes make it hard to help out during the week. If you haven't had a chance to hit the pavement or make a call on behalf of our candidates, please set some time aside. Look at your weekends. Look at your evenings. Pledge to volunteeer 6 hours. That's two hours of walking on half of the remaining weekends. Bob McDonnell and the rest of the ticket want you to work hard, and want you to focus on your family. And when they are in office, they will make sure state government is your ally and not your enemy. But we have to help them get there, and Prince William County is a battleground.

Please set aside the weekend of October 24th. We will be joined by out of state Young Republicans in a massive voter turnout effort. We need to show these out of state folks some hospitality, and make sure that we deliver twice as many locals.
